Brugge Boat Race

Team up for the Brugge Boat Race 2016!

For the 22nd time we invite European rowing teams to Bruges on February 27+28 2016. The Brugge Boat Race is a board-on-board rowing race over 5000 meters.

On Saturday afternoon the race is exclusively for coxed eights. All categories (senior,
junior , students , masters and tour rowers eights) will compete. In this boat race two 8+ start side-by-side.

On Sunday morning head race you can race in any other type of boat. Start and time recording for each boat separately.

Last year more than 800 rowers from 6 European countries participated in the
Brugge Boat Race. Competitors in the coxed eights truly enjoyed the side-by-side races.
The course is both scenic and challenging and the race schedule is kept quite tight with
short intervals between races so as to keep the races exciting.

All rowers travelling in early are invited to a free rowers dinner on Friday evening
in our Club House. It is a great opportunity to meet with all rowers and a fun way to get
your Bruges weekend off to a good start in a friendly athmosphere. No better way to get
